HAWKINS,
Torino Eugene Hawkins, age 44. Sunrise October 31, 1971 in Columbus, Ohio and Sunset December 25, 2015 in Atlanta, GA. Torino was a 1990 graduate of West High School and spent his life time in Law Enforcement. Torino was preceded in death by his father Wayne Eugene “Jerry” Ross and grandmother Cleida Allen. Left to cherish his memory, his mother Beatrice Hawkins, daughter Jourdonna Hawkins, brother Sekou Kwesi, sisters Tyra Cargill, Toya Hawkins, Charlene Hawkins, and Tanicka (Jeffrey) Davis, grandson Adrian Offer Jr, special aunt Clarissa Fox, special cousins Tywona Douglas, Tashona Corvi and Terrell Douglas, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Tuesday January 5, 2016 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave. Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

Dear Hawkins family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Torino. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death.
