Venita L. Baker, 18. Sunrise November 15, 1991 – Sunset May 18, 2010. She was a student at Mifflin High School where she was on the Track and Field Team, Choir and Drama Club. She attended Greater St. Paul Church and International Christian Church. Venita was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Charles Cleophus Jones II, paternal grandmother Gwendolyn Baker, brother John Jones and niece Tevaeh Lee Locke. Left to cherish her memory, mother Romel Gipson, father Louis (Africa) Baker II, sister Jaynette Gipson, brothers Anthony Hayden, Matthew Gardner, Louis Baker III, maternal grandmother Melvis Jones, paternal grandfather Louis Thompson, aunts Venita Jones, Jonie Jones, Tonya (Phil) Garrett, Solmar (Wade) Muirente and Juanita Baker, uncles Waco Cleo Parson, Charles Cleophus Jones III, Jonathan T. (Dee Dee) Jones, Keith (Mary) Baker, Nelson (Erin) Baker, Calvin Baker and Isaiah Baker, stepsiblings Samantha Stone, Daniel Richardson and Chris Richardson, special friend and godmother Teauna Surratt, godfather Philip Jackson and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, classmates and friends.

Well venita was a god given angel and it will always be so hard to say our goodbyes but u have to think that god only to venita because she was the best in the heavens battles and the lord knew she was so think she is in a better place watching over everyone with happiness and joy and rejoicing and fulfilling our hearts.<3

Oh my heart is heavy just because she is a young lady who is gone but not going to be forgotton I work with students and find them very dear to my heart. So when is lost for what ever reason I feel like I lost a friend whether I knew them or not. I did not know Venita but still feel like I lost someone also.
