Verdell Pelmore, was born September 12, 1933 and passed away December 26, 2008.

She was a native of Camden, Alabama. She was a retired nurse in the city of Denver, Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her first born son Wallace Wilson; and brothers Roosevelt Thompson and Hercules Thompson.

She is survived by her children Wilbert (Jackie) Wilson of Aurora, Colorado and Greta Wilson of Beaverton, Oregon; mother Annie Mae
Thompson of Mobile, Alabama; sisters Edith Moreland of Bessemer, Alabama, Jessie N. Wilks of Columbus, Ohio, Angelina (John) Reed and Queenie (Anthony) Griffin, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Elaine (Leroy) Curry of Mobile, Alabama, and Shirley Battle of Columbia, South Carolina; brothers Edgar (Francis) Thompson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Napoleon (Gloria) Thompson Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, and Harold Thompson of Mobile, Alabama; granddaughter McKenna Wilson of Continental, Colorado; devoted daughter-in-law Sandra Robinson of Continental, Colorado; and several nephews and nieces throughout the globe.

Verdell will be missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her; but even more so by those who had the privilege of loving her.
