Willie was a devoted lead guitar player who loved to minister through music. He ministered with several groups: The Saunders Family, Potters Temple First Born Church Male Chorus, and serving those incarcerated in state and federal penitentiaries. One of his favorite songs was: “Lord Give Me Two Wings.”

To the family of Willie, you have my condolences in your loss. When Lazarus died, Jesus told his disciples that he was going to travel to awaken him at John 11:11. Jesus was referring to waking Lazarus from death, a deep sleep state, in which can only be done through God’s power. Lazarus, as well as others, were resurrected from death to show what would be done on a larger scale. Soon, you will be able to greet your loved one back to perfect life (Acts 24:15)! May you find comfort in God’s promises at this difficult time.
