Michael Wayne Barnes, Jr., known as Mikey or Bibi, was born in Kingston, Jamaica on October 28, 1991, to proud parents Jackie Warren and Michael Barnes, Sr. He was the first boy for Jackie and second son for Michael.

Michael’s early years in Jamaica reflected a stable and loving home as he was raised by his grandmother, Dorrette Warren. His schooling started at Pembroke Hall Basic. He then went to Pembroke Hall Primary and Pembroke Hall High School. After migrating to the United States, he completed his high school diploma at Mifflin High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Anyone who knew Bibi would know that he loved a good stage show and dancehall party. He loved his Jamaican food and was known to his family for his cooking, especially his prized sugar dumplings!
On November 2, 2015, Michael welcomed the birth of his son Giovanni Wayne Barnes. This was the happiest day of his life. Bibi was always about family. He always reached out to everyone. He was loved by everyone because of his free spirit and the way he showed love to everyone. His son, Gio, meant the world to him.

Michael is survived by ten siblings, Ricardo Barnes, Kimesha Barnes, Junior Gushman, Clive Foster, Loushawn Barnes, Malik Barnes, Michale Barnes, Royalty Barnes, Empress Barnes, and Majesty Barnes.
Bibi is loved by every member of his family. He left an impression on everyone with whom he came into contact. The importance that Bibi placed on love and family unity left an amazing impact on his loved ones. We are blessed to have experienced him.
