Alante Darell Royal was born in Mesa, Arizona on March 2, 1994 to Alison Maddox and Nathan Royal. He departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on April 2, 2022 at the early age of 28. Alante and his mother moved to Detroit, Michigan where she was originally from when he was still a young child. There he was united and spent a lot of time with family, one in particular was his cousin/brother, Martell, who he looked up to a lot and remained very close with. Alante attended school and received his diploma with high grades and many academic awards. He was often on honor roll throughout his school years. Alante was very intelligent and very eager to learn whatever he took interest in and being from Detroit, cars and fashion caught his attention early on. During the holidays and summer breaks, Alante visited with his family here in Columbus and spent a lot of time with his sister, Brianna and brother, Dominique aunt and grandmother. During visits to Columbus, Alante often visited and eventually started working for a local auto body shop doing odd and his passion and love for cars grew.

Once Alante finished school, he moved to Columbus and lived with his sisters and nieces (Brianna, Aubri and Bria). He began working at several jobs and enjoyed earning his own money. Alante was a car connoisseur. He knew about every kind of car and enjoyed customizing them to fit his personality…And they did!

With the help of his father, Alante opened a Car Wash and Detail Shop. Alante was always one who wanted to do bigger and better which led him to Houston, Texas where he started an exotic car rental company called, “Royal Exotic Cars” and Air BNB rentals. Alante was a natural entrepreneur.

Alante is preceded in death by uncle, Regan Maddox; aunts, Cheryl “Peter Rabbit”, Cheryl Flowers; grandmother, Annie Jones; grandfather, William Royal; grandmother, Mildred Flowers.

Alante is survived by daughter, Lyric Ariah Royal; son, Sy’Aire Royale Sieng; mother, Alison Maddox; father, Nathan Royal; sisters, Brianna Royal, Megan Tye, Isabella Royal; brother, Dominique Royal; grandparents, Richard and Karen Brown; grandmother, Linda McLean; 2nd mother, Tanouwa Troupe; nieces, Aubri Horton, Bria Horton; special aunts and uncles, Khary and Melissa Davis, Isidore and Leslie Wornum; special cousins, Martell Wornum, Taylor Royal; girlfriend, Stephanie Martinez; special friends, Alana Bateman, Quevance Price (aka Guce) and many more family and friends.

Visitation 9:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 10:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Mt Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Rd.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
