My Beautiful beloved daughter, Unique Armany Selyse Prater passed away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 15. She was born on September 1, 2007 to Alysha Robinson and Aaron Prater in Columbus, Ohio at Mount Caramel West at 3:40am.
Unique was the oldest sister of girls, Anya, Alaysia, and Eryn Robinson; father’s side older brother, Zaire and older sister, Azarieah. Unique was one of a kind! Unique loved her family, her grandmas Shelly Robinson, Tina Prater, and Estelle Madison; aunts, Michelle Robinson, Carlesha Scott, Shylia Scott, Shaniqua, Dionne, Randy, Felicia Prater, Alti, Eboni Scott, Shakira Johnson, Tiera Thomas, Jasmine, Kaylee, Kendra, Mychal, Neicy, and the list continues; uncles, Shelvis, Ligmund Prater, and Tremaine Sutton, and so many wonderful friends and loving family members.
I may have missed worldwide and the community. She was loved so much I never thought of saying goodbye I will never heal from my broken heart she wanted to live life to the fullest and we had so much to accomplish. We didn’t know how much time we had with her; this isn’t fair. She had Counselors, Probation officers, Case Workers, and many other mentors. This truly saddens me because we couldn’t save her, but she will live with peace and love as she always has. She was kind and sweet, but do not get on her bad side because you would know she was upset because she stays smiling through it all. She will give you her last in food, clothes, and shoes even she doesn’t have it.
Unique was becoming my fully upcoming grown teenager that has been through a lot. I will truly miss and cherish our special moments and memories together. 15 years and 3 months is half of me, and I don’t know how to live without my baby girl. My problem! My wildcard! and Knockout Queen! We will always remember the jokes and smiles you made, even walking out to this world at 10 months she learned quick at everything she did and that truly amazed me. The most important thing I know she knows is Mom taught her everything there is to know, even seeing blind. I’m so so sorry this happened to you, Mom and Dad will get Justice and she knows that. It hurts me to say, I love you with everything in and you will never be forgotten. Goodbye my baby, my sweetheart…dream for me.

Very sorry for your loss. I hope more awareness is brought to the light about our communities and the harm that is being caused. A lot of people do not know about Unique and countless other missing and murdered young girls. Please help with bringing about the change. I wish you all peace and happiness.

We were neighbors for 6 years, on good ole Franklin Ave.I didn’t get to know you until I had a couple more months left of living there, but those last couple of months I was living there was fun with u, u we’re such a goofball. Even though we weren’t able to get super close. I do miss u being around. LLU
