Geraldine Smith, age 68. Sunrise September 23, 1948 and Sunset July 10, 2017.
Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lula Green; husband, Larry Smith; companion Jerry Reeder; sisters, Ora Travis, Mary Green; brothers, Charles Green, William Green; grandson, Kenneth Turner.
Left to cherish her memory, her children, Juan Green, Delia Wilson, Lynnette Green, David Smith, Antwan (Twylia) Bradley, Kia Smith; siblings, James Green, Vera Green, Lula Zellner, Betty Reynolds, Juanita Green, Minnie (Frank) Cunningham, Nasrul (Sharon) Muhammad; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Geneva (Tice) Hampton, brother-in-law, Alexander Smith and a host of other relatives and friends,
Visitation 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service 12:00 Noon Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at MARLAN GARY FUNERAL HOME, 5456 E. Livingston Avenue (one block east of Noe-Bixby turn north on Lonsdale Rd.).
Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.

Aunt Lula, I am so very sorry to hear about your sister. There is such a special relationship and bond between sisters and I know you will miss her deeply. Just bless the Lord for allowing you the years you had with her and remember all the good times you shared. Believe me, I understand your hurt and pain.

Our condolences in this hour of bereavement. Gerrie always embraced our extended family with steadfast devotion to love and caring for others. Her ever glowing smile and welcoming personality will continue as a beacon that shines on all of us. While Gerrie has departed, our cherished memories of her shall live on.
