Darian Dekai Welch, 18, passed away on August 4, 2022. Darian was born on May 14, 2004 in Columbus, Ohio to Lindsay Thomas and Darryl Welch.
Graduated from Mifflin High School, Class of 2022, with plans to join the US Navy and travel the world.
Handsome, humorous, athletic, dancer, focused, caring, confident, charismatic, always encouraged other people to do their best and be the best that they can be
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Michelle Robertson, uncle Michael Deshawn Davis and brother Caiden Josiah Welch.
Darian is survived by his mother Lindsay Thomas and father Darryl Welch.

Darian You’ve been heavy on my heart lately.. it’s crazy that I’m even reading an obituary for someone I used to admire from a distance.. We basically saw each other grow up , I’m so salty I lost contact my life was a mess and is slowly getting better.. I remember when you was my boy best friend & we’d talk about anything and everything as kids.. your words and the things you shared about yourself to me are a key memory for me. Your whole existence is a core memory to me, I wish it was me instead sometimes.. like your swag , your energy , your presence was unmeasurable to the average humans mind and eyes. You had a light that shined so brightly anyone from lightyears away could see it & that’s why you left so soon. You were too great for this world! You were so intellectually intelligent and carried it beautifully! Wasn’t nobody messing with you in my eyes especially when you was hustling , I used to run the streets serving too & it just touched me how you took the game & made it your own. If I had a chance to do it again I would’ve praised the ground you walked on. I would’ve never lost contact EVER. I would’ve naturally healed you from whatever was killing you , I’m a spiritual young woman and I know divine ways.. I promise you I would’ve never let you slip away from me in any way! If you feel my love start checking on me , start talking to me man please. I know you feel my spirit yearning..I infinitely adore and love you, nobody gotta understand why because that’s between me & you.
