Aaron Charles Wilson Jr. was born to Billie Jean Vinson (Andrew) Goodrich and Aaron Charles Wilson Sr. on May 18, 1979 in Little Rock, Arkansas after the death of his mom at age 2 he moved to Columbus, Ohio to live with his Aunt Beverly and Alton Dugger Sr. (deceased). He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Reverend William S. Wheatley. He served as a junior usher, sang in choir, and volunteered in the food pantry and kitchen. He remained a member till his death.

Aaron attended Columbus City Schools Hamilton Elementary School, Linmoor Middle School, Linden McKinley High School before moving onto the Job Corps.

Aaron departed this life on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Jean Vinson Goodrich and Aaron Charles Wilson Sr.; brother, Telly Scott Wilson; grandparents, Veester Scott and Willie Joe Vinson, and great grandparents, Henry and Elza Scott.

Aaron leaves to cherish fond memories, siblings, Tabitha (Ronald) Brock, Angelo Goodrich Sr., Daryl (Mon’Cherie) Goodrich Sr., Shannon Goodrich, and Nicholas Goodrich of Columbus, Ohio; special aunts, Bernetta Todd and Elva Knox; special nephew, Billy Sebastian; special friend and caregiver, Melissa Cleveland and family; aunts, Bettyann Cole Little Rock, AR, MaeRose (Richard) Starks of Columbus, Ohio, Dianne V. Jones, Alexander, AR, Wanda Grayson of Stuttgart, AR, Willie Jean Crownever, Ft. Worth, TX, Debrarene Vinson, Columbia, SC, Sylvia Vinson, St. Louis, MO, and Sophia (Solomon) Davey, Jeffersonville, IN; great aunts, Lee Ellen Thomas and Mary Ellen Scott, Mary Caldwell of Pine Bluff, AZ; aunts, Ethel Ross of Kenner, LA, Sandral (Lee James) Simms of Brinkley, AR, Joyce (Lawrence) McCullough of North Little Rock, AR; uncles, Michael Rhoden of Columbus Ohio, Oran (Bridgette) Johnson Sr. of Somerset, New Jersey, Dennis (Uyolanda) Wilson of Pine Bluff, AR, Steve (Turra) Wilson of South Holland, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Mt. Vernon AME Church, 1127 Mt. Vernon Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
