Evangelist Alice Ruth Ragland- Jordan was born to the George Sr and Eugenia Franklin on July 19, 1940 in Talladega, Al. She attended Westside High School. Evangelist Ragland- Jordan came to Columbus, OH in 1960, and made it her home.

Evangelist Ragland- Jordan was a well known soloist, pianist, keyboardist, and choir director for various churches in Columbus, OH.

Evangelist Ragland- Jordan loved helping and feeding people. She was a former daycare teacher, and she also worked for Franklin County as a security guard. She received her BA from The Ohio State University.

Evangelist Ragland- Jordan is preceded in death by her parents, Eugenia and George Franklin; husband, Jimmy L. Jordan; grandson, Lamar S. Owen, Jr; brothers, George Jr, John , Harry, and Spencer Franklin; and sister, Maryanna Dickerson.

Evangelist Ragland- Jordan leaves to cherish her memory, children, Phededa Franklin, Stanley, Medric, Terry, and Belinda Ragland; brother, Harold Franklin; sisters, Pauline Smiley, Edwinda White, and Evelyn Franklin; very special friends, Jesse Ragland Jr and Patricia Howard; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Evangelist Ragland- Jordan’s love will live on in the hearts of many people.

Visitation 10 am Funeral 11 am Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Praise Temple Community Church, 2618 Bethesda Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
