Allen Lee Jones (AJ) was born on November 17, 1940, to the union of the late Allen LeRoy Jones and Frances Hamm. Allen passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Allen was a Brother of Ezekiel Lodge #4, Past Potentate of Triumph Temple #1, Past Grand Potentate of Delphi Grand Temple.

Allen was employed by Buckeye Steel Mill as a laborer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and was a long-time coach for the Mifflin Sharks Youth Football League.

Allen was preceded in death by longtime companion Hilda Belcher; parents Allen Leroy Jones and Frances Hamm of Columbus, OH; brother, Marvin Leroy Jones of Columbus, OH; sons, Allen Keith Jones and Hosea’ Jones of Columbus, OH; and great-granddaughter Italy Jazelle Jones, of Columbus, OH.
Allen leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved son, Marvin L. (Brenda) Jones; daughters,

Julie Jones, Shannon (Robert) Prince, Jonina (James) Johnson, Hilda D Belcher, Lori Belcher, and Yolanda Belcher; daughter-in-law, Zeta Jones; grandchildren, Nicole Jones, Patrick Jones, Tonya Jones, Brittani Jones, Keith Massey, Dominic (Heather) Jones, Allen K. Jones II, Bryant Jones, Kadiejah Jones, Marcus Jones, Marvin A. Jones, Ryen (Dionne) Stewart, Alexsis Prince, Xavier Prince, Marquez Plummer, Sharod Plummer, Hosea’ Jones II and eighteen great-grandchildren; siblings Marcialene Slate, Carrie Jones-Byrd, Clifford Jones, Ronald Martin, Lisa Graham, Lloyd Graham, and a host of other family and friends.
