Allen Shermon Wright II transitioned from this life unexpectedly on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Allen was born on September 7, 1997, in Columbus, OH to his parents Regina Fields and Allen Wright.

Allen was a graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and was employed at PepsiCo. He was a proud, enthusiastic, and nurturing father to his adorable one year old son, Allen Zymere Wright, who truly brightened his life.

Allen, affectionately nicknamed ‘Phat Daddy’ by his family, was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He had a kind and empathetic heart, always concerned for the well-being of others. Allen will be missed by the countless lives he blessed and inspired by his willingness to care for and serve others. He loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and trying new recipes. Each holiday he would honor his family with a signature dish. Allen loved his family, and his family will honor and cherish his memory forever.

Allen was preceded in death by his loving grandfather; Ralph Louis Fields and grandmother Julia Kim Wright, great-grandfather; Robert L. Fields, great-grandmothers; Ernetha Fields and Dollie Brittentine.

He is survived by his son; Allen Zymere Wright, Father; Allen Wright, mother; Regina Fields, grandfather; John Mitchell, grandmothers; Shirley Fields and Ann Elaine Fields, uncles; Reginald L. Fields, Raymond L. (Torri) Fields, and Sjon Wright, aunts; Renee L. Fields and Rebecca L. Fields. Taiyana Bowman the mother of his son and good friend. He is also survived by a host of cousins, great uncles, great aunts, loved ones, and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, September 23, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
