My dear beloved Alphonso. I will cherish and carry you in my heart always. I am thankful and grateful to have known you since our grade school days from True Belief Academy, Westlane Middle School and North Central High School, which we graduated together in the Class of ’05. I have known you basically the majority of my life. Even after that, we had remained friends. I have so many great memories of us while we were involved in choir and theatre. You were so talented! We had amazing times together while we were involved in IYG (Indiana Youth Group). We were practically “baby” gays then lol Your smile and laugh always did light up every room or space you were in. You had an amazing light and spirit within yourself. It was infectious to everyone who had the honor and pleasure of knowing you. Let me not forgot that head of hair of yours lol Al, you had the BEST hair. I could spot your tall self with that nice, curly fro ANYWHERE!….Haha! Thanks for always being there for me and thinking of me back in those days. You just had a kind soul that can never be replaced. I love you and will miss you so very much. Rest in peace, my friend. I am thankful you are no longer in pain or suffering in this crazy world of ours. Fly high! Please hug my mom, Rhonda Kaye Smith, for me. Sending my love, thoughts, prayers and condolences to your family and friends. I am here for you Chucky. ❤️

Alphonso
This truly pains my heart to see. I had no idea you had left this life. I had wondered how you were doing and where you may have been. You cared so much for so many people and you gave so much to others. I hate we lost contact and I didn’t get to see you at all last year. I pray you are able to find rest in the Lords arms. May your family find comfort in the Holy Spirit and the Love of Christ Jesus.
