SLOCUM,
Andre S. Slocum, 61. Sunrise July 23, 1951 and Sunset November 6, 2012. He was a graduate of East High School, attended Miami University, was a Retired Director for Columbus Parks and Recreation and member of Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Brentnell Ave. Andre was preceded in death by his wife Helen Virginia Slocum, parents Andrew and Anna Slocum and grandparents Gladys Slocum and Ollean and Lenzy Byrd. Left to cherish his memory, son William A. Slocum I, sister Renee Slocum, brothers Ralph, Garald(Cheryl), Eric and Thomas (Gerry) Slocum, grandchildren William A. Slocum, II and Ezra Slocum, fiance’ Laura Hughes, close friends Goldean Gibbs, Robert Smith and Carlos Pace and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
