Ms. Angela L. Woods was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was born on January 8, 1978 in Columbus, Ohio at OSU Hospital to the late Archie and Karen Woods.

Angela attended South High School where she took up caregiving which she had done for her mother Karen and father Archie. She went on to become a home health aide and took care of many people and touched many lives.

Angela was very loving and caring. She was a person that will ride the rail to and from with a person if she felt you were worthy. She was a person who would give the shirt off her back to you if you needed it. She was a lady who got along with everyone, so she didn’t make enemies, she was loved by all.

Angela is preceded in death by her father, Archie; mother, Karen Woods; and brother Anthony Jenkins.

Angela is survived by her lovely children, daughter, Ka’Brea Woods; sons, Ka’Ron Woods, Ka’Lyle Woods, and Roger Richards, Jr.; sisters, Alicia Woods, Karen Edwards, Latoya Shanks, and Ozella Summerall; 6 grandchildren; boyfriend of 8 years, Thomas Anderson, Jr.; brother-in-law, Robert Joyner; uncle, Donald (Celestine) Woods of Columbus, Ohio; aunt, Mattie Jenkins; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and close friends.

You will be greatly missed mother, auntie, sister, cousins, lover, and friend, for you have now gained your wings.

Hello Woods Family, With a very sadden heart I would like to send my Deepest condolences to you all on the loss of a awesome, sweet ,funny and amazing woman Miss Angie Woods! From the day I met her she was nothing but sweet and kind and a great listening ear. She Had a smile on her face every time I seen her which was welcoming and peaceful. We would talk every now and again through Facebook. She loved her family. She played No games about her family and what they meant to her… I will forever know her to have a sweet spirit and a kind heart. She was not a perfect person like the rest of us but she was loving and I will forever remember that about her. I’m sure she is at peace. She loved her kids and grands. Please know that she is watching over all of you being the guardian angel that I’m sure God sent her to be…. To her children I have not seen you guys since you were so little but what I will say is she loved you all. I know what it’s like to lose a parent. Allow yourself time to grieve. There’s many layers to it so there’s no perfect way to do it, but one thing I do know the best thing you can do is do good in this world and be good and strive for greater no matter how far back you feel like you’ve been pushed in this life no one can judge you BUT GOD! As parents be everything she was and greater than she was that’s what she would want. Again I am sorry for your loss much love to you all be blessed….Sorry I couldn’t be there….

  2. We may have not spoke everyday but Angie will be truly missed by all.
