Angelina Pryor Main Photo

On Saturday December 24th our beloved mother was called home. Angelina R. Pryor who went by “Angel” was born on November 6th at C & O Hospital in Clifton Forge VA, to Gretchen Cermack and William Pryor.

Family was Angel’s sole focus, and she took care of them until the end, sometimes to the exclusion of her own needs. Angel loved spending time with her family, she was always dancing, especially step dancing, she loved listening to music everything from Motown Jazz to Charlie Wilson. She also loved painting and baking.

Angel lived up to her name. She knew no strangers. She was always there for anyone who needed her, providing comfort and solace while asking little in return. She will greatly be missed.

Angel was proceeded in death by her Grandmother Mable Jordan, father William Pryor, sister Tina Monroe, granddaughter Heaven Tyree, and also her great niece Cali Obiri.

Angel leaves to cherish her memories, her children Tynesha (Scott) Tyree, Ashley Pryor, Deziree Esters;
Mother Gretchen Cermack, Step father Terry Cermack; Sister Debbie Wilson; Special friend Leo Drennen.
Two bonus daughters Latosha Mullins & Keara Drennen. Grandchildren, Scott Tyree, Kingston Tyree, Imani Pickett, Andrew Bell; and a host of family members and friends who will also cherish her memory.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Memorial Service 11:00 AM Friday, December 30, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.

Condolence from Robin Cason on December 30th, 2022 1:05 pm

To Angel’s Family,

I am truly very sorry and really very sad to find out this had happened. I (also along with, my cousin, Mrs. Kim Cason-Sheppard) have known Angel an extremely long time, we practically grew up in the same neighborhood, together. I currently work at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the very last time I had actually seen her was when she had brought her grandchildren in there for an appointment, even though it had been a while it was still a delightful pleasure just seeing her, again.

Angel will be greatly and dearly missed. You all, are in and will be in me and my family’s “Prayers” and we do send our thoughts, cares and condolences. Stay forever “Blessed” with Love & Togetherness.

With Condolences & Love From:

Miss Robin Cason & Family
