Mother Duckworth was a very special and caring person. There wasn’t nothing she wouldn’t do for you. She loved to cook and would do it with a smile. She and my Mom had the same birthdate and I would always call her or send a card. She loved receiving cards . She will be missed.

Mom Duckworth I am really going to miss you. You were like a second Mother to me. Thank you for being such a loving and caring Grandmother to my daughter Taushica Carter. Thanks for all the laughs and wisdom you have shared with me as I ran in and out of your house since I was a child playing with your children, Robert, James, and Tony. I am really going to miss those 7-up upside down cakes and caramel cakes that no one could make like you. Rest in peace Mother Duckworth. Love you. Elsa Carter.

Dear Cousin, you know how much I loved Aunt Ann B. I am speechless. The last time I saw her was when I visited her in 2019.

She was a pillar in the community….all of the Bowman Street women were role models. OMG, she was a GREATGREATGREATGREAT cook. I used to visit almost every Xmas . She always welcomed me with open arms.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the passing of an Angel.
