Anthony Dwight Dazzlen Butts Sr., affectionately known as Ant was born to Patricia Ann Butts and Vincent D. Moore in Columbus, Ohio on April 27, 1991. Anthony departed this life at the age of 30 on May 15, 2021.

Anthony was a graduate of Whetstone High School.

Anthony loved his family and friends very much. Anthony spent most of his free time coaching his oldest sons football team the Raiders. Anthony was a good father and great friend. Anthony was a leader and inspiration to others. Anthony was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory, loving parents, Patricia Ann Butts and Vincent D. Moore; stepfather, Andre Morgan; stepmother, Jamaica Newbern; children, Anthony Jr., Aaliyah and Amir Butts, Aaron Butts, Amiah Bolding; sisters, Alicia Butts, Vashonna Draughon, Thomasina Newbern, and Ambrasia Anderson; grandparents, Robert V. Butts Sr., Ruth E. Butts, Robert T. Moore, and Roslyn D. Moore; uncles, Robert V. Butts Jr., Eric Moore, Ralph Tucker, and Leander Purdie; great uncles, Donald (Alice) Butts Sr., Keith (Sarah) Butts; aunts, Thomasina Butts and Marlene Griffin; great aunts, Flo Wilkes, Karla (Billy) Dancy, Carmen, and Yvonne Dukes; special cousins, Ashely and Amber Butts, Leroy Thornton, Nicole Martin, Donald Butts Jr., Shandara and Adrian West; best friend and mother of his children, Sierra Lemon; girlfriend, Alexis Smith; close friends, Omar Jama and Marquese Slade; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Public Visitation 10:00am, Private Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
