Lil Cuz rest in peace fly high & sing loud. You are truly missed.

  8. Shawn was one of, if not my most favorite person to work with at JCPenney. I was only there a year in-between graduating college and moving to Chicago. He was always good for a laugh or an open ear. I’m going to miss him so much. I’ve only known him for 3 very short years but ever since I’ve moved away I’ve thought about him all the time and all of the good times we had together. He was incredibly special and his grandparents raised such a gorgeous and talented human being!

I’m not sure what he had been going through lately but I know that he wasn’t alone and I want to thank his family and best friends for keeping him close and taking care of him this entire time. I’m going to miss his stories the most and the sound of his laughter. His joy just filled up the room and it always turned me from sad to happy. I’ll never forget the joy he brought into my life! I’m so sorry he’s gone but I’m so lucky and glad to have known him. I wish eventual peace on his family so they can come together and heal after such a tragedy.

  9. I knew the sound of his voice. “How long has he been gone from your house? Do you miss him?” “Yes,” was my response. He then said, with a kind and LOVING whisper…the whisper of GOD…”If you miss him from your house after a few days, please consider how much I have missed him from MY house for these 40 years.”
John 14: 1-3 Do not let your hearts be trouble. You believe in God. My father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL come back and take you to be with me that you may also be where I am.

  10. My condolences to the Tanyhill/Dalton Family… I’ve been knowing Shawn since elementary school & it was never a dull moment whenever we bumped into each other. Its not gonna be the same when I take my kids to the park & I look across the street and you’ll know longer be there! The angels have gained one that can sing his heart out & cook his butt off.. Rest easy my friend❤ gone but by far not forgotten❤

I am going to miss our trail walks, going to war on the Wii, and our endless conversations, and most of all you keeping me laughing. I am in a state of shock and I’m not sure I will process this well. I am going to miss you so much.

  16. You were always surrounded by love. Now you’re free from pain but my heart is still broken into a thousand pieces. I will never question God on why these things happen for I know he has a devine plan for us all.
I will miss you everyday that I am on this earth. You blessed us with laughter, food, and just your presence. I thanked gradma privately but I also want to thak her publicly for raising such a loving and caring human being. My love for you is infinite and I don’t know how or when I will ever get over this pain. You were such a kind and giving person and I want everyone to know that I have great memories of you to cherish. Until we meet again dear friend.
