Antonio (Tony) Dodd 33, Left us on July 31, 2017 with family by his side at OSU Hospital East
Antonio was born September 23, 1983 in Baltimore, Maryland to Winslow and Lenise Lee. He received his education from Baltimore City Public School system. Antonio decided to leave his hometown and move to Columbus, Ohio in 2008. He had an amazing connection with his family and loved spending time with his daughter. Antonio was a hardworking man. Despite the obstacles with his health, he loved life and was a very caring person who loved to talk. He would have conversations with whomever he came in contact with. No one was a stranger to him. After accepting Christ in 2016, he became a member of Meridith Temple Church. Antonio would brighten anyone day when he showed up with his big smile. He loved music and enjoyed making rap songs, but he was known for quoting movies all the time. Antonio as most know him by “Tony”, “Bmore”, or “Chop” was always calling family and friends “Slime” or saying “what up Dunnie”.
Antonio was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Dodd; grandfather, Lenard Dodd; uncle, Michael Ferguson; and aunt Mary Lee Matthews.
Antonio is survived by his parents, Winslow and Lenise Lee; daughter, Trinit Dodd; stepson, Tavion Cox; a very special woman the mother of his child, Isis Williams; brother, Eugene (Margo) Dodd; sisters, Christina (Tom) Dodd, and Briana Lee; nephews, Duke (Shemiah) and Dezmond; nieces, Keyana, D’ara, Dejanai. Jaylen, Jazlyn, and Skylar; great nephews, Jayden, Da’brell, and Messiah; and a host of aunts and uncles and a host of cousins and friends including best friends Trey, Twin, and Mel.
Visitation 12:00 noon and Funeral 1:00pm Tuesday August 15, 2017 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
