Ms. April Rene Mayo, 44, of 1921 Belcher Dr, Apt 307 Columbus, Ohio, laid to rest on Monday, October 4, 2010 in Ohio State University Hospital.
She was born on April 28, 1966 in Portsmouth, VA to John Mayo and Joann Johnson Evans.
She was preceded in death by three aunts, four uncles and two cousins.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother Joann Evans, stepfather Dalton Chalden, sons Jeremy Mayo (Amandy Varney), Shawn Mayo, daughters Tiphany Mayo, LaShawna Mayo,and Deondria Mayo, brothers Adrian (Seprena) Mayo, Brian Mayo (Fallon Farmer), sisters Angela Mayo, and Tomika (Donte’) Mayo Wade, soon to be granddaughter Kendalleigha Mayo and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Joann- My prayers go out to you and the family. I haven't seen April in several years but when we saw each other, it was like old times. She will be missed by so many. God Bless you, the family and most of all her loving Angels left behind.

To the Mayo and Johnson Family,
May God comfort and keep you during this difficult time. I have such fond memories of growing up with April ,Angela, Adrian and Rachael in WV on Westmoreland St. I remember that April could braid hair like no one else. Miss Joann and Angela you are in my prayers . God Bless you.
