BLAKE,
Ardella McGhee Blake, 91. Sunrise April 28, 1920 and Sunset December 7, 2011. She was born to Thomas and Virginia McGhee in Huntington, WV. Ardella Blake was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter Blake, five sisters and three brothers. Left to cherish her memory, daughters Janet Smith of Los Angeles, CA and Claudia Jeter of Columbus, OH, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in West Virginia, Ohio and California.
Praise God for the years that Mrs. Blake was on earth. She is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior.
It was a blessing to know Mrs. Blake. My family loved her for her unwavering kindness and love. We will miss her and are thankful to God for the 91 years He left His Angel here on earth. I'll see you when I get there Mrs. Blake.
Our family shared many memories of Ms. Ardella for years. She was a wonderful neighbor-very kind and thoughtful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. May you find comfort in the Lord, our Father.

I work with Ardella at Stone and Thomas for 16years.She was a wonderful person to work with.She reminded me of a warm and wonderful grandmother.My wife and I will sadly miss her.Our love and prayers are with her family.
I worked at Anderson-Newcomb in Huntington with Ardella and Allen. I cherish the great memories of them. Both were wonderfrul people.
Mrs. Blake and I had many conversations over the years while we were in our side by side backyards. I've rarely met a more kind and deeply spiritual person, and feel I am a better person for knowing her. This world is a little more empty without her, and will always remember her fondly.
So sorry to here about the lost of Sis. Blake. I will miss her alot. U all are in my prayers. God be with u in jesus name.
