Arthelia (Douchie) Louise Hague, daughter of Emmett and Lovelena (Turns) Burton was born June 17, 1944 in Sharon, West Virginia and departed this life, March 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Douchie attended Central High School, the Theological Studies at Gospel Lighthouse Church and Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio.

She was united in marriage to Bobby Hague on February 27, 1972.

Douchie retired at the State of Ohio as a correctional officer. She was an author and songstress (titled, “For Children All Over The World”).

Sister Hague was a faithful member of Rhema Christian Center and Grace Kingdom Life Ministries in Ronda, NC.

She was a Sunday school teacher, praiser and worshipper.

Douchie loved spending time with her family, especially with her children, grandchildren and she loved the Lord.

Preceded in death by father; Emmett Burton and mother; Lovelena Burton, mother-in-law; Lydia Nannie Hague-Harris, sisters; Rosetta Mitchell, Lena Perrin, Johnnie May Burton, Linda Thomas and Jackie Lundy, children; Mortica Burton and Robert Burton.

Left to cherish her memory; devoted husband; Bobby Hague, caring children; April Burton, Lovelena Hague, Danielle (Phillip) Hague Taylor, Angela Bell, Dexter Bell, sister; Barbara (Natheniel) Washington, brothers; James Burton, Frank Lee (Renee), Edward (Michelle) Burton, Maceo and Zantika Burton, (10) grandchildren, (11) great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Rhema Christian Center , 2100 Agler Road.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
