Arthelia (Douchie) Louise Hague, daughter of Emmett and Lovelena (Turns) Burton was born June 17, 1944 in Sharon, West Virginia and departed this life, March 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Douchie attended Central High School, the Theological Studies at Gospel Lighthouse Church and Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Hague on February 27, 1972.
Douchie retired at the State of Ohio as a correctional officer. She was an author and songstress (titled, “For Children All Over The World”).
Sister Hague was a faithful member of Rhema Christian Center and Grace Kingdom Life Ministries in Ronda, NC.
She was a Sunday school teacher, praiser and worshipper.
Douchie loved spending time with her family, especially with her children, grandchildren and she loved the Lord.
Preceded in death by father; Emmett Burton and mother; Lovelena Burton, mother-in-law; Lydia Nannie Hague-Harris, sisters; Rosetta Mitchell, Lena Perrin, Johnnie May Burton, Linda Thomas and Jackie Lundy, children; Mortica Burton and Robert Burton.
Left to cherish her memory; devoted husband; Bobby Hague, caring children; April Burton, Lovelena Hague, Danielle (Phillip) Hague Taylor, Angela Bell, Dexter Bell, sister; Barbara (Natheniel) Washington, brothers; James Burton, Frank Lee (Renee), Edward (Michelle) Burton, Maceo and Zantika Burton, (10) grandchildren, (11) great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Rhema Christian Center , 2100 Agler Road.
Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.

I know that the Hague family will never be the same without Douchie’s warm tender touch and her soft loving words but please find comfort in one another as you try to accept her loss. Douchie’s work here on earth is done and she have surely earned her resting place in God’s Kingdom. May bless The Hague family and all those who mourn her loss.

My sincere condolences to her family. She and I served in a ministry for years before she relocated. I will always remember her bright smile and her desire to serve others. We made a great team.

I love mommy and I love the family Mrs Louise was the most awesome person I’ve ever met she loved when I didn’t love myself she reiterated thing I knew. Mommy always taught me to love the lord and family and love myself she always nurtured me I am so very blessed to call her Godmother she is truly that to me she will always be in my heart
Sending my deepest condolences to The Hague family. Mrs. Hague taught me many valuable life long lessons. She was the first person to show me what true friendship really means. Mrs.Hague enjoyed witnessing about the Lord our savior to everyone. Then once done she would invite them to church. I’ll forever be greatfull Mrs.Hague entered into my life. I know she’s in heaven walking the gold paved streets singing Hallelujah glory be to God. I will always love you Mrs.Hague and thank you for being my mentor and loving friend.

My prayers and condolences to the family. Mrs. Arthelia was so kind to me. She would send me daily prayers on social media and when I would see her, she always provided a word of encouragement. My prayers are with the family.
To my love and family there is never a moment that we are not with one amother. My cousins love an spirit is with me and her leadership helps direct me. She left me with love and strength and blessed me over the years with her gentle grace.
My love will be missed but never forgotten. To the family my presence was not there but my heart is present.
