Arthur Adam Scott was born December 27, 1940 on Edislo Island, SC. Adam went Home to be with the Lord in the Afternoon of August 23, 2012 at his residence in Columbus, Ohio.

Adam knew Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. He attended Whaley Industrial Elementary School and Baptist Hill high School of South Carolina. Adam moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1963 and was employed by Legg and Davis for 43 years.

Adam was preceded in death by his mother Rosalie Scott, father Samuel Scott, brothers Benjamin Wright and Esso Wright and aunt Margaret Deas.

Adam leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Carolyn U. Scott, son Robert (Carlita)White, grandchildren Robert White Jr., and Shanqwa, 3 brothers Samuel Scott, Dr. Franklin(Margarett) Scott, Danyl (Mary) Scott, 4 sisters, his twin Eva Johnson, Naomi Jenkins, Ruth Stewart and Anna Bell Scott, cousin Richard Brown, 3 stepsons Wilveno, William and Mathew Brown, stepdaughter Jessie Brown, 7 step grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Adam will be deeply missed by all of his family members and friends in Columbus, Ohio and Charleston, South Carolina.
