Asia Sheree Thompson was born July 18, 1984 in Columbus, Ohio to Melissa Woods, and Glenn Thompson.

Asia was a kind and loving person who loved life, enjoyed writing, talking, watching movies, and doing fun activities with her friends and family, especially her two kids Azavier (14) and Saniyah (10) Smith.

In April of 2002, Asia received her certificate of completion for Nurse Assistant Training from Job Corps in Flint, MI.

Asia was full of life, smiles constantly and spread love and laughter to everyone everywhere she went.

Asia was only the young age of 34 when she passed on October 17, 2018. Asia was loved and will be remembered by many people as she enters the realm of eternal rest and peace.

Asia will be missed by all who had the pleasure of loving and knowing her.

Asia is preceded in death by father, Glenn Thompson; grandparents, Gertrude and James Thompson, and Linda Shelton; brother, Shermaine Williams; uncles, Ronald Thompson and Aaron Shelton.

Asia leaves to cherish her memory, mother, Melissa Woods; children, Saniyah and Azavier; siblings, Alex (Miranda), Jordan, Kalayah, Shialah, and Ivan; aunts, Joanne Thompson and Alycia Shelton; uncles, James Thompson, Stanley Thompson, David Shelton, and Mack Shannon; special cousin, Tasshia Lee; special friend, Cindy Argueta; Godmother, Luana Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday, October 27, 2018 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

    So sorry to hear of your lost. I too have lost love ones in death. And I found comfort and hope in Jehovah God’s word the Bible at Revelation 21:3-4 where it tells us that our father will do away with death forever.
