WhiteAvery

Avery Bryant White was born Thursday October 13th, 1966, to the proud parents of William H. White and Helen R. White in Columbus Ohio. He departed suddenly January 13th, 2022, at 7:20pm. He was a proud graduate of Mifflin High School and attended The Ohio State University, Go Bucks! He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, a self-proclaimed comedian and teacher of many things. Avery was fun loving and family oriented.

A pillar of his family, he was always arranging cookouts and family reunions. And if Avery was involved then you know food, laughter and just an all-around good time wasn’t far behind. He was always laughing, and joking, and loud. Avery’s whole aura, and especially his laugh was truly infectious. He lit up a room. I guess that’s why he knew just about everybody. Avery grew tight bonds with people and was so loved.

Along with family, being an entrepreneur was also important to him. The Spot and The CD Store were well known throughout the city. Not just for music and movies, but rather a place for a good game of chess, a serious conversation about life, some place to vent, seek advice, and let’s not forget all the laughs and great times.

To say he will be missed is truly an understatement.

Proceeding him in death his mother, Helen Ruth White, and grandmother, Lasaelle Jones.

Cherishing his memory his father, William H. (Angel) White Sr; brothers, William (Nichole) White and Jabari (Denise) Hoover Sr; sister, Tanika (Corey) Gillard of Greenville SC; sons, Keith Hairston, and Elgin A. White; daughters, Laya S. Speer of Las Vegas NV and Niyah J, Banner; grandkids, Jorden E. Stewart, Darwan L. Stone, Brandon A. White, and Kamari S. Banner; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Avery will be laid to rest next to his mother at Evergreen Burial Park in Columbus, Ohio
