Samuel Anthony Wayne Wood, 10 months old passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at Nationwide Childrens’ Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Samuel known as “Soldier Wayne” was born August 21, 2018 to Steven Wood Jr. and Tanica Hill. In those precious 10 months of life, Samuel filled all who knew him hearts with joy and rays of sunshine. Some of Samuels favorite things to do were watching Boss Baby, listening to music eating his favorite applesauce. Although Samuel was born with Chronic Kidney disease, he was always such a happy, smiling little boy.
He is survived by his father and mother, Steven Wood Jr. and Tanica Hill; maternal grandparents, William and Janet Hill; paternal grandparents, Steven and Debora Wallace-Wood Sr.; great grandmother, Joyce Clark, great grandparents, Pete and Lola Wood; aunts, Ciera (Freeman) Wood and Gianni Ross; uncles Kenyon Hill, Timothy Hill, Justin (Teena) Wood and Toiyon Wood; two brothers; Steven “Scooter” Wood lll, Yohanes MeKaunet ; two sisters , Taylor Wood and Samya Hill as well as a host of cousins and love ones.
He is preceded in death by great grandparents, Warren and Thelma Hill, James Clark and Phyllis Mickens; brothers Sydney and Warren Wood.
He was such a beautiful baby and will forever be in our hearts.
