  5. Pastor Kim Harris Carter

I would like to express my condolences to the Watkins Family. “Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.” I am saddened at Sister Watkins having to leave this world; but I am joyous that she has now gained the complete healing; not only of her body; but of her soul as well, never to be sick again. Sister Watkins has lived out what the apostle Paul said in Philippians 1:21, “for to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Remember the words written by John in the book of Revelations 14:13. “….Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.” My prayer is that God would grant you peace and strength as only he can. My prayers are with the Watkins Family. Your mother was a beautiful soul and now she is our Angel. I remember many days over the Watkins house, she was the mother of the community (Livingston and 22nd).

    Rest in Heaven!

  7. Jill Hammonds (Bland)

    My prayers are you all.

  8. Jill Hammonds (Bland)

My condolences to you all. I remember venturing to your home as a teenager and your mother was always welcoming, polite and kind. I fondly remember, your mother telling Pete to drive me home and not let me walk home. Her kindness will forever be remembered. On behalf of the entire Bland family, we offer our condolences and god bless you and your family.

  9. My condolences to the Watkins family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of your dear mother. I remember most her smile and her kindness. I know God will see you through this time, you are in my thoughts and prayers. And I am so glad I got to meet and fellowship with your mom.

    Sis. Debra Dandridge
