This is still so hard to believe. I called her Bernie, we always need this little joke between us as we walked past each other we both would start saying as we did our double our steps say cuse me, cuse me, cuse me and we would both start laughing at each other. She was a very caring person, faithful person to our church. A woman that God used greatly. she is loved by her church family. She would quietly come up to you and give you a word from God. She was one of the great pillars of our church. She loved her children greatly. She is greatly missed. Family you all are in my prayers.

Condolence from Minister Barbara A Black-Oluwatuyi on November 28th, 2022 12:37 pm

Sister/Mother Bernice McCrae was also known to me as “Blessed and Highly Favored”. That’s what I always called her, because that is what God calls her. I am grateful for the opportunity to know and love her. She was a gracious lady and an example of womanhood. If you weren’t sure what it looked like to be a “lady”. All that was necessary was to watch Mother Bernice.
I am not mistaken that Mother Bernice is missed already, but Heaven is throwing a “house party” over her arrival.
She has been welcomed home. Now, isn’t that what she was living for?

So sorry to hear that Berniece has fallen asleep in death. Pray for comfort and strength for the family and those so close to her that they were considered family. Death was never apart of God’s purpose for man. That is why he promises to eliminate it once and for all and give those sleeping in death a resurrection. We can see her again. May your loving memories bring a small measure of relief. Lynn and Diane
