Beth McCammon is finally at peace on the 15th day of August, 2022. Born a Pieces in Cleveland, Ohio on February 21, 1953.

She was able to survive and thrive through the 2020 Pandemic with the love and support she connected within an on-line crochet and yarny community. Beth spent over 60 years crocheting for others. She was able to finally crochet a purple prayer shawl for herself as she battled a losing fight with cancer.

Beth has spent her life advocating and standing up for everyone’s rights, encouraging others to be kind and pay it forward.

Beth is preceded in death by her soulmate; Jeff Jenkins, parents; Josephine (Wrabak) and Wesley Lindberg and many beloved friends.

Beth is survived by her fur baby; Max-a-Million, children; Jason (Kristin) McCammon and Yvonne McCammon, four Lindberg siblings; Wesley (Deb), Yvonne, Christopher (Leanne) and Matthew (Tina), grandchildren; Jaydin, Bryce, Annabelle, Levi, Dominic Jeffery and Carmen McCammon. Also survived by beloved niblings; Claire (Ian) Troxel, Matt J. (Katie Golden) Lindberg, Angelique Thurston (Brian Braun) as well as six great-niblings.

Beth has one last special request: To raise a glass of domestic beer (such as Michelob) in her honor and enjoy it with a loved one.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

Yvonne I worked at the Northside branch of the Columbus library for many years and became friends with your mom there. That was when she lived in an apartment behind the old Ritzy’s restaurant. She was a very fun person and loved you a lot. My sincere condolences to you.

Condolence from Wes Lindberg on August 20th, 2022 1:24 pm

Deb and I offer our sincere condolences. Beth was a very special person to me, she was my older sister. She has always been there for me when I needed her. My earliest memory of her care and support was when I was 13. She invited me to her high school dance and while the band was playing someone sprayed foam shaving cream on my backside. Beth was not happy with them and made that very clear. Most of my life I was uncomfortable dancing because of this event but recently remembered the incident and how my sister Beth, protected me. While she had challenges in her life she did her best to succeed and enjoy life. We had the opportunity to spend time together this summer, we laughed and played in downtown Columbus chasing bronze deer sculptures and eating great food. I have many fond memories of her and love her very much. Wishing you the very best in the spirit world Beth, I LOVE YOU!
