To the Family of Betty Miser

It is with a deep sense of sadness that we send condolences to you as you mourn the passing of your loved one. We know that words won’t take away the pain of your loss but our prayers for your comfort will hopefully bring you peace in the midst of the storm. We have been blessed to be a part of her life and know that her passing will leave a void in yours. She will always be there watching over you as you see her face reflected in a loved one or hear her voice as you listen to her favorite song. Betty and the Baker Family were part of our lives as we grew up in Ingram Branch, WV. There are many memories from those days that brings smiles to our faces. Growing up there was a special bond between the Baker and Evans family that started in Farmville, VA with our parents, Leonard and Martha Carey Evans, and her parents, Charlie and Nora Baker. Betty and my oldest sister, Hazel were life long friends who kept in contact throughout their life time. Hazel made her transition two years ago and I know she welcomed her dear friend into heaven with a warm embrace. I will always be thankful for the help Betty provided to me when I was doing research to write a book about my ancestors and discovered that we were related through our great grandparents. She provided an important link to complete my story and unite us as more than friends but family. I know you will miss her because she was the special person who loved and nurtured her family and cared deeply for her friends. May those precious memories keep you in peace and may Betty rest peacefully with the Lord and the angels as she is reunited with loved ones in heaven.
With Love, Cousins Bernice Evans Taylor, Beckley, WV, Dorothy Evans Denson, Beckley, WV and Martha Evans Montgomery, Washington, DC.
