Beverly J Davis, age 72, passed away at her home in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her loved ones on February 28, 2020. She was born on August 11, 1947 in Laurel, Mississippi to DeWitt and Mary (Campbell) Moncrief.

On May 21st, 1966, Beverly married Richard Davis Sr. and raised 3 sons, Richard Jr., Dathan Sr. & Michael Sr. Throughout the years, Beverly obtained her cosmetology license from Nationwide Beauty Academy & began her journey as an Entrepreneur. When Beverly was not helping her clients, she was enjoying her time as a wife & mother.

Beverly became an ordained Minister and Evangelist on May 13, 1996. Beverly was a member of the New Birth Senior Choir.

Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by father DeWitt Moncrief and sister Marsha Crosby.

She is survived by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Richard Sr.; Sons, Richard Jr., Dathan Sr., & Michael Sr; Mother Mary Moncrief; Sisters, Daisy Pierce, Kathy ( John) Hill, Teresa (Joseph) Mickey. 14 grandchildren; Kayla, Dathan Jr., Kristian, Jaricah, Aolani, Aleah, Travon, Kiowa, Michael Jr., Richard III, Mareese, Trenton, Martez & Zoey; 2 great-grandchildren; Kaiden & Meilani.

Beverly will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Friday, March 6, 2020 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refuge Rd.

Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
