I like to hold unto previous memories of our loss loved ones. Bishop Sims was a ball of excitement and didn’t let anything stop him from giving God the glory. He was not only a man of God, but a family man who put his family first as Home is our first ministry. He provided a living example of how a family should operate in the Lord, as the Sims family can always be seen together united. To the Sims Family, I know your hearts are hurting from the loss of your loved one, I send you love and peace from my the Nolen Family to yours. I encourage you to hold unto the precious memories of Bishop Sims and live on his legacy in the way he would want you to live and prosper in the Lord. No more suffering for our beloved Bishop Sims, as he has went home to be with his Lord and Savior.

My prayers are with the family. Pastor Sims will be deeply missed from the prayer Line. Such a great man of faith. Never complain but believed God to the end. A true soldier and prayer warrior for God.

We sat next to each other during dialysis. Charles really loved the word of God, and loved to study it. He loved the chronology of the Scriptures and we spent a lot of hours looking in to text of Scriptures that were difficult to understand. I loved his love of his God and I loved his willingness to give of him self for any in need. I also loved his love for all that were willing to understand the Scriptures, Many were the times that he would ride all night after giving a sermon or a study in a distant town, only to get back home in time for dialysis. I will miss those sweet period of fellowship with him. Our love and condolence to his Wilma and to all of his children and grandchildren.

To the Sims family, you have my condolences in your loss. God’s original purpose was for the human family to become many, to fill the earth, and to live forever upon it! God warned that death would enter into the world as a consequence for Adam’s disobedience (Genesis 2:16, 17; Romans 5:12). However, because of his undeserved loving kindness, he allowed his son Jesus to die to reverse the effects of sin. May you have faith in his promise of the resurrection of the dead (Acts 24:15).
