Bishop Timothy Irvin Lynch

Bishop Timothy I.  Lynch was born on April 11, 1957 and went home to be with our heavenly Father on February 16, 2022, after a dedicated and inspirational life.   He was the son of David W. Lynch, SR. and Dorothy D. Lynch and the father of Gregory Lynch.

Bishop Lynch attended school at Linden-McKinley High School and was inducted to the National Honor Society.  He studied Theology at Dallas Pike Seminary.

Bishop Lynch serves as Executive Pastor of the Temple of Praise Church.  The Bishop was ordained in July 2019.  He was the Bishop of Foreign Missions for the following churches in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and Spain.

Bishop Lynch was the youngest Foster Parent in 1979 in Columbus, Ohio and went on to adopt his son.  Bishop Lynch was the owner of a Limousine Service, a Car Consulting Agency and several other companies.  Bishop Lynch was one of the most excellent car salesmen in Columbus, Ohio.  Bishop Lynch recently met with Mayor Ginther, of Columbus, Ohio, to discuss starting a youth outreach mentorship program for violent youth.

Bishop Lynch was preceded in death by his father, David W. Lynch, Sr., and brother, Clifford G. Lynch.

Bishop Lynch leaves to cherish his memory his Mother Dorothy D. Lynch; his Son Gregory Lynch; Brother, David W. Lynch, Jr.; Sister Debra D. Daniels (Dee-Dee); three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Grace New Covenant Worship Center, 1643 Aberdeen Ave. Mask and Social Distancing are required.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
