Walker,

Bobby Jerome Walker, III was born on December 28, 1986 to Bobby Walker Jr. and Carmen Walls in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Walker made his way to Columbus at the age of five and attended Fairmoor Elementary, Yorktown Middle and Whitehall High School.

Growing up, Bobby learned to enjoy the game of basketball which became a favorite pastime of his and when competing there were not many that could match his confidence, tenacity and fire. In addition, he acquired “McGiver” like skills as he enjoyed taking things apart and as time went on, putting them back together.

As an adult, Bobby began his journey of becoming educated into options his life would have to offer. In this window of opportunity he became a devoted, caring and giving father of his two beautiful children, Carmen and Bobby IV (BJ) along with befriending any person that would need a hand; even if his own situation was challenged.

Leaders are born and not made as Bobby showed this trait time and time again through the many associations he gathered. Whether the west, north, south side of Columbus, Whitehall or even clear to Chicago there was a following that believed in whatever he decided to stand for.

I’m sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one Bobby. I know there are no words that can erase the pain you feel right now but Jehovah is a God of comfort. His word says, “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalms 34:18
