Mr. Bobby L. Cooper, Sr., Sunrise March 19, 1940 and Sunset April 15, 2021. Bobby L. Cooper was born in Kennedy, Alabama to Mabel Walker.

Bobby then moved as a small child to Tifton, GA and attended Tiff County School.
When he reached a mature age, he helped his Mother provide for his siblings by going to work with his favorite uncles: Levon, Gable, and Dencile.

He then went on to marry his childhood sweetheart, Annie Hampton and that union produced six children: Linda (James, deceased) Burrell; Bobby (Karen) Hampton, Jr.; Patricia Cooper; Tony Cooper; Michelle (Kraig) Gibson; LaToya (Jeff) Lauderdale.

Along with his wife and children, left to cherish his memory is his Sister, Mary Jean Jones; Brothers: Larry Charles (Arnita) Steward, Herman (Mary) Walker, Walter (Elizabeth, deceased) Walker, Foris (Patrice) Walker, Anthony Walker, as well as, beloved Sister-in-Law, Hattie Bell Gunn. Bobby also leaves a legacy of 16 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren, and 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Bobby Cooper was a hardworking, family-oriented man. He retired from Capital Drywall after 32 years of service. After retirement, Bobby enjoyed watching Western movies, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and rooting on the Cleveland Browns. He never met a stranger and loved to talk and joke with everyone that he encountered. Bobby also enjoyed spending time relaxing on his front porch surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Mabel Walker; Uncles: Gable Cooper, and Levon Cooper; Sister, Alma Walker; Brothers: Therman Walker and Morris Walker.

He will be truly missed by his friends, family, and all that had the honor of knowing him.

PUBLIC Visitation 10:00 AM and Private Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Rd,. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. LIVINGSTON AVE.
