Brenden Michael Jones Williams

Brenden

Brenden Michael Jones Williams, affectionally known as Kay, was born November 14, 1991, at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. to Robert and Sharon Williams.

At the age of 5 the family relocated to Aurora, Colorado where Brenden began his formal education in the Cherry Creek School District in Aurora, Colorado, before relocating to Pickerington, Ohio in 2009 and graduated from Pickerington Central High School in 2010.

Answering God’s call, Brenden was baptized into Christ at the age of ten years old. As he continued to learn more about Christ, he requested to be re-baptized in his teenage years at the Park East Church of Christ in Denver Colorado. He served on the Lord’s table during youth Sunday, was an active member of the youth ministry program, the mime team, and always stood proud with his father leading songs during worship service. As a child, Brenden was always active when it came to sports. His first love was basketball, but he also played hockey, enjoyed skateboarding (to include building and modifying his own skateboards), snowboarding and building and racing go-carts.

Brenden always came ready to support his team. While on a youth road trip to the Midwest Regional Conference in Oklahoma City, OK, Brenden’s hard work help put the Park East Church of Christ Youth group on the map, leading him to win the MVP trophy for the Conference.

From childhood, Brenden always had a kind and compassionate nature, always willing and wanting to help others and always expressing his concern for the homeless. He would wonder if they had food and a place to sleep, especially during winter and how he could help in providing warmth and shelter.

As proud member of the Lord’s church, no matter where he would go, he was happy to pray and his Hallmark signature at the end of each prayer was, “Be alright.”

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents Robert and Sharon Williams, his children Juliana Nicole Morales, Julissa Isabel Morales and Kai’Zer Davion Lee Williams, two brothers: Shawn Bolton of Gainesville, FL and Ruebin Williams (Sakinah) of Canal Winchester, Ohio, his grandparents Horace (preceded in death) and Helen Williams of Gainesville, FL and Thelma Phillips of West Palm Beach, Florida, he also leaves seven Aunts: Mary Williams Davis (Covington, GA), Helen Lovette Williams Tolen (Jacksonville, FL), Linda Thames (Paul) (Lakeland, FL), Elizabeth Barnes (Somerville, SC), Loretta McPlatt (West Palm Beach, FL), Sherita McPlatt (West Palm Beach FL), Nadine Phillips (Jerolyn) (Pittsburgh, PA), two uncles: Willie Williams (Covington, GA) and Albert Cornelius Williams (Angela) (Fairburn, GA); and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).

  2. Ms. Sharon and family, I’m so sorry for your loss.Prayers for entire family. God rest his soul.

  3. Absolutely heart broken, with this untimely passing, this is teaching us “Love”as hard as we can, and to “Forgive” as often as we can. We will see you again, when God calls us. Rejoice in your journey with God.

  4. Please know that you have our deepest sympathies for the loss of this young man. One of my memories of Brenden, as a child, is at a church cookout, he ran circles around this old woman (me) who thought she could challenge him playing basketball. Another was when I decided to wear some eye makeup, the young Brenden asked, very genuinely, what was wrong with my eyes. He was such a delight. God bless you family and friends with strength and comfort and you deal with losing him.

  5. So sorry for your loss, praying for comfort for you and your family.

  19. From Sister McCoy, Part 2

    Psalm 130 NKJV
Ought of the depths I have cried to you oh Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. My soul waits for the Lord,
More than those who watch for the morning– Yes, more than those who watch for the morning. O Israel, hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is mercy,
And with Him is abundant redemption. And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

    —With Love,
    Sister Mary McCoy, Denver, CO

My condolences to my sister and brother-in-law in the loss of their youngest son (Brenden). Two loving parents who loved and cherished their son. They always set the example to show you what unconditional love is. Brenden loved his parents and the one thing that stuck in my mind when I would see him – is his smile. Brenden left three wonderful children for Sharon/Robert to dote over and love. Sleep well my nephew. We will all see you again one day. Love-Auntie Liz
