Brian Keith Johnson

johnson 4

Brian Keith Johnson was born August 2, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Anise Johnson and his beloved dog Maxx. After a long courageous fight to obtain new lungs, God decided to give him two wings instead on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Brian was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended Cleveland Public school, John Marshall High School. Later, Brian entered into an apprenticeship as a Journeyman with the Ohio Carpenters Local 200 where he later became a union carpenter.

Brian moved to Columbus and there he met the love of his life Luvenia A. Woods. They were married on September 11, 2004.

Brian accepted Christ at an early age in Cleveland, Ohio. He rededicated his life to Christ in 2019 and became an internet member of The Word Church of God in Christ International under the pasturage of Pastor Eddie T. Parker III.

Brian was known as a dapper dresser with hat and stomps (shoes) to match every outfit. Brian’s passion was his dogs (Sassy, Duece, Maxx, Maserati, and Blu), Harley Davidson motorcycle and vintage cars. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Brian Keith Johnson will always be remembered as a caring soul who shared himself, his faith, and his heart with everyone he knew. He was known as a “man’s man” in his neighborhood. He had no problem pointing out what was right or wrong but in a respectful way.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 17 years Luvenia (Ann)Johnson; two sons Montez Stewart (Alyssa) of Cleveland, Ohio and Julian Johnson of Columbus, Ohio; his brother Eric Johnson (Gail) of Bedford, Ohio; two grandchildren De-Cario and Charlotte Nova Rae; special sister cousin Rochelle Johnson Wiggins (Richard) of Houston, Texas; two sisters in love Cathy Morris Venessa Tucker, one brother in love Norman (Beverly) Woods, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday, June 7, 2021 at The Word Church of God in Christ Church, 115 Wilson Ave. 43205.

  8. I met Brian 4 years ago, I called him from the lobby to take him to a room. In those seconds , I knew he would be special. Brian soon took me under his wing as his “niece”. Wednesday were my favorite days , I would call and check in on how he is doing and how things were going with the projects that were going on. Every time we hung up he would tell me , you know I love you have a good week.
Ann , My heart is breaking for you and the family. I will keep praying for comfort and peace for you and the family.
