  2. I knew Bruce almost all my life. We competed against each other in Little League Baseball, Junior High School Basketball and were Teammates at Newark High School in Football. Bruce was a very fine friend and teammate always had a kind word and an infectious smile. See you on the other side someday my Friend, God Bless you, Rest in peace….

  3. I did not know Bruce but I was struck by his photo-how good looking he was as a youth. We are the same age. Then when I came to this page he looks more like me now. My condolences to the family, I’m sure we could have been friends no matter how different our background. RIP Bruce

  5. Dear Farmer family,
I wanted to send my condolences on the loss of Bruce. I first moved to Columbus in 1986 to attend Ohio State, and my first job in Columbus was working as a waiter at the Max n Erma’s restaurant in the convention center. Bruce was an absolute joy to work with. He put everyone at ease, and his smile and infectious laughter helped make a challenging job very enjoyable. He was a kind-hearted person who I was lucky to call a friend – one of the first friends I made in my new hometown.

  6. GILLIE, TAMMY, ELAINE & TYRONE, ❤️ I LOVE YOU ALL AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH Y’ALL… “BRUCIE” WILL SHOLL NUFF BE MISSED.. RIH BRUCE. ❤️ LOVE VIC

    To the Farmer family:
My condolences for your loss. I was a linecook many years ago with Bruce at Max and Erma’s. Bruce had an infectious smile and was always fun to work with. We went to a lot of ball games together. We took road trips to Cleveland and Detroit for Monday Night Football. He had a contagious laugh that made good times great.

  8. Oh my I am late to this sad news. I was thinking about Bruce today and was looking online for any info. Like a few others here I worked with Bruce at Max and Ermas and he would often come and visit me at my home after I left there. Bruce was one of my favorite co workers ever but really one of the coolest nicest guys I ever met and became friends with. . I am truly saddened to see this news and my prayers and condolences to all his family and friends. .
