Bruce graduated from North High School in 1977.

Bruce was a man who took pride in his work. Whenever he was hired whether to do landscaping, painting or to move customers, I was done with excellence and to the utmost of satisfaction. He was faithful and dependable making sure things were done correct and that each assignment was completed. Bruce was blessed with the gift to draw and his daughter Nicole has also been blessed with the same gift.

The first Bible verse that he learned as a child is John 14:6: Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life, No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. He never forgot this scripture and would quote it at times.

Bruce was a proud grandfather and would spend quality time with his grandchildren. His grandchildren passionately called him “PawPaw”. His oldest granddaughter, Amirah, Lived near him with her mother and siblings. She would sneak away to go visit him. Her mother would not find out until afterwards. Her siblings would look through their fence and see him outside and ask to go visit him. They just simply wanted to see their Paw Paw.
