Calvin Derek Featherstone

Calvin Featherstone was born on December 2, 1958 and he went to be with THE LORD on August 21, 2021.

He attended Linden McKinley high school, and he was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he was a supervisor for Global Management.

Calvin was a true sport’s fan, which led him to take over The Windsor Warriors football team and coached the boys he loved. He used to love working on cars, he loved having parties, he loved The Dallas cowboys, but most of all he loved his family.

Calvin was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Dean Featherstone, his father Calvin Fielder, (Robert Butts), and his grandson Baby B.L.U.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory his children:  Margarette, Derek (Bevin), Siniqua (Aaron), Gabrielle, Calvin ll (Renee), Stefon, Cleopatra, Alexis, Khalil, Mikey, Amber and his Fiancée, Margo Martin. He leaves behind his brothers Michael (Michelle), David, James, Craig (Kristy) and Jeffery Featherstone and sisters, June (Jeron) and Robin Butts He also leaves to cherish his memory his many grandchildren, a great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Calvin will truly be missed by all who knew him, and forever missed by those who loved him.

Visitation 12:00 PM and Funeral Service 1:00 PM Monday, August 30, 2021 at City of Grace, 3350 Allegheny Ave. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave. Mask and Social Distancing are required.

Calvin was a great friend, he was the first to truly welcome me in 2019 when I first moved to the area. He always knew how to brighten the day when I was having a tough time at first at work. Man always made me laugh. I will sorely miss him.
