Candace Candy Jeffers was born to Raymond Mitchell and Dolores A. Cassell on October 8, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio at OSU.
Candice attended Columbus Public Schools. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and family. She liked her old school television shows and playing cards.
Candace was diagnosed with COPD in 2010. After her two year battle with the disease she finally was called home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2013.
Candace was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Cassell, husband Stephen Jeffers and sister Cherry Cassell.
Left to cherish her memory, father Raymond (Peggy) Mitchell, son David Waddell Hudson Cassell, daughters Detra Cassell, and Dolores (Anderson Ingram) Cassell, brother Daledrako Cassell, sisters Vena (Calvin) Thomas and Karen Russell, 9 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends including the Hill, Hudson, Mitchell, and Lewis Families
