In life God ordains a path for us to follow, As humans we may
choose to follow that path from the beginning to end,
or we may choose to chart our own path. Though we may choose the
latter, through God's grace and mercy, He
allows us to return to his path forgiven and washed clean.

Candy Lynn Bowman, Born 6-13-1959 to Arlene Bowman-Harris
and James Bowman, may have chosen her own path at times in
her life, but before losing her father James, Candy made the
decision to go back to the path that God had ordained for
her. She became the daughter, grandmother and friend that made her
passing even harder to accept. Candy made the decision to
get Baptized 9-2-09.

Candy is preceded in death by her father James Bowman, She
leaves to cherish her memory; Husband Patrick F. Hill; Mother Arlene
Harris; Daughter Nakia (Kevin) Thrweatt Sr.; Brothers Thomas(Tony) Bowman; Billy Kimbro;James(Poochie)Bowman;Grandmother Jane A. Monegain; Grandchildren; Kevin Jr., Dionne,Kahwan,Kyla and Keylan Thrweatt. Special aunt Margaret Jenkins; Special cousins Margaret (Bebe) Booker and Maria Pearson; Special friends; Maudel Britford and LaJune Lyons. Candy leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to
celebrate.

Condolence from Kathy Moore-Hall on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

Words cannot express how sad I was to learn that you had begun a journey that we will all take someday. When I heard, I thought it was just too soon. As I reflect on the past, you have allowed me to realize how precious and short life can be as well as the many things we take for granted. You also reminded me that "es;God is a forgiving God"es; to all those who believe. I am so glad that you passed my way and will treasure all the good times from yesterday.

Your friend.
Rest in Peace.

Birth Mom

There was a time when I really needed to know you
But your time has come and now you're gone
Thank you for not being a selfish Mother
For loving me more than any other and for
Giving me to a strong Great -Grandmother

She did a great job and you would have been so proud
To know how she steered me from the wrong crowd
And there were times when we had our differences
Oh how I longed for your appearances

And in the end, I realized that you missed our time
As much as I
Please Lord, I can not cry!

I called you Candy out of anger
Where did it come from?
It doesn't matter anymore
Because you are my Birth Mom

I love you Mom

Nakia

Condolence from JOHN H. KNOX on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

Candy was a dear friend and one of the sweetest people I've ever met.I was fortunate to see her three days before I left Ohio we spoke only briefly, but my last words to her were to stay in touch, not only with me but with the many friends who had made it their mission to find out where she'd gone.I only recently received word of her passing. My heart hurts she will be sorely missed.GOD BLESS YOU CANDY.
