Carl Darnell Davenport, Sr. passed away June 21, 2016 at O.S.U. East Hospital, at the age of 57. He was born May 21, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio.
Carl was a longtime member of Higher Ground Always Abounding Assembly, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his mother Thelma L. Davenport and by his brothers William K., Michael, Eugene and Miles.
He is survived by his father John Davenport Sr., sister Geraldine Daniels, brother John (Rhonda) Davenport Jr. and Jerome Bohanna. He is also survived by his children Tajuana (Duwayne) Miller-Rutland, Carl Davenport Jr., Albert (Faith) Davenport and Step-Son Martel Berry. Grandchildren TyJuan Miller, Dominque Davenport, Myiah Davenport, Albert Davenport Jr., Allin Davenport, etc. There are 13 grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carl will be forever missed by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be especially missed by those who had the pleasure of loving him and being loved by him.
Visitation 11am and Funeral 12pm, Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies 870 St. Clair Ave. Interment at Glen Rest Cemetery.
