crockett

On January 1, 2022, Catrinia our loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away at the age of 51. Catrina is survived by her daughter Tiveca Crockett and her loving son Duane Brown. Catrinia was a loving grandmother to her 7 “Grands” as she would call them. Vendayzah, Ventaysia, Vennaysha, Venzaiah, Vennaiah, Vernell & Vaeh’lee all were her world. She gave them anything and everything. Catrinia was called the “Cool grandma aka WahWah”. Catrinia was born to the late Jeffery L. Crockett and Wanda L. Crockett in Columbus, Ohio at OSU Hospital. Catrinia was one of nine siblings including Camille, Cassandra, Candance, Cavetta, Catisha, Jeffery, Rodney & Ryan. Also, Catrinia leaves a host of nieces, Nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends. Catrinia was known for her amazing character and beautiful smile that would be present no matter how she was feeling. Both her positive spirit & smile were always enough to light up any room.

Catrinia was a beautiful angel and supporter to everyone, even if you were a stranger. Catrinia graduated from Linden McKinley High School. Where she then went to college at The Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in teaching. Catrinia was employed at the Cigna for 16 consecutive years. She loved her job & she considered her co-workers as family. Knowing no matter what happens the lord is with her & she is smiling down on us. Catrinia had a kind, giving & loving heart. Catrinia was an amazing woman to everyone. Catrinia always looked at the good in everyone, never judge a soul. If she knew you were in a bad predicament, she would push you to figure out the right solution for how you want an issue to be corrected. Catrinia was one in a million. What a sense of humor she had. Catrinia loved her family. Catrinia gave them nothing but love. Catrinia was a big buckeye fan. Most of all she loved Tiveca, Duane & her grands.

Catrinia will be greatly missed & always cherished in their hearts. Nothing but great memories of time spent with our beautiful angel. A heart felt thank you & appreciation for your support during our time of grieving.
