Cecil C. Jackson Sr., age 95, went home to be with the Lord at his residence surrounded by friends and family on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. He was born to the late Hope and Annie Jackson on August 25, 1925 in Gainesburg, Georgia.

Cecil spent most of his life in Columbus Ohio. He was employed by Timken Roller Bearing and OSU.

Brother Cecil Jackson as he was “affectionately” called was a long-time member of East Mt Olivet Baptist Church. He was the oldest member of the church. He served as an usher along with his late wife, Euzera for many years. He also served as a dedicated member of the Male Chorus and Trustee Board, even during his illness.

East Mt. Olivet loved Brother Jackson and he loved them. He was faithful to his church, until his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Euzera Jackson; daughters, Pricilla Dickey and Anita Willis; son, Cecil Jackson Jr.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, daughter, Alicia Green of Fort Smith, Arizona; son, Robert C. Jackson of Columbus, Ohio, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Monday, September 21, 2020 at East Mt. Olivet, 2940 E. 11th Ave.

MASK IS MANDATORY.

Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
