Celestine McCutcheon was born November 17, 1968 in Los Angeles, California. She received her academic education in the Compton City School District. Celestine loved spending time with her grandchildren, relaxing, and listening to music.

On May 15, 2021 Celestine passed away in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 52, she was preceded in death by her son, Marquise Pickens; father, William C. McCutcheon; siblings, Brandon McCutcheon, and William C. McCutcheon Jr.; grandmothers, Ethel McCutcheon and Bernie Ruth Blackshear; and grandfathers, Riggle McCutcheon and Louis Blackshear.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Marquisha Pickens, Marsha Dean, and Marcell Pickens; sisters, Sheila McCutcheon, Shelly McCutcheon, and Tonrie McCutcheon-Long; grandchildren, ZaNiyah Owensby, Jahmylah Dean, Cezsirray Owensby, Marquell Spinner, Jahlayla Dean, Zaharia Dean, and Aryah Pickens; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; cousins; one aunt, Michelle Blackshear; and one uncle, Louis Blackshear. She had lots of friends and loved them dearly; and most of all, she loved her significant other, Eddie Mosley.

She was a wonderful and loving mother and person. She will be missed deeply.
