We would like to extend our condolences to the family. In just a little while all of the pain and sorrow that we feel from the death of our love ones will cease and be replaced with joy, because the former things have passed away. Thoughts of peace.
To the Bridges family. My heart is with you and your family at this time of your loss. There is comfort in knowing God’s promises about the resurrection hope. (Acts 24:15) and (John 5:28,29) In the past God has resurrected humans and He is eager to do it again because He hates death. (Mark 5:41-43) It is not God’s purpose originally for mankind to grow old, get sick and die. To learn more about God’s promises go to JW.ORG. There are online Bible study lessons featured and more. Love, Your Neighbor Irish J. Richardson

To Rashida and Donald and the Bridges family. Charles was truly a unique person. So gentle and kind. I will always remember the many trips he made to COSI with my children and Rashida and Donald, on their off days from school. RIP!
Rest In Peace, my Dear, loving Brother! You fought a good fight and kept the faith! Now there is stored up for you a Crown of Righteousness…(2 Timothy 4:7&8a). Family & friends, trust in the Lord and do good. I love you. Liz Jones, Charles’ Sister
Charles was my friend who taught in the room next door at Indianola Jr. High School. He was loved by the students. Seventh grade kids, they would sometimes mix up our names–Mr. Bridges, Mr. Burgess. I would say no, Mr. Bridges is the one with the mustache. Later, we both left Indianola, to work elsewhere. Both of us were in downtown Columbus and we’d run into each other and catch up on our lives. I thought of him as a gentleman and a good friend. He will be missed.
